       Technology plays an important role in the development of a country by directing discoveries. Priority is given to actions using information and communication technologies (ICT) according to the Europe 2020 targets. For this reason, as in every field, education is transformed. When used properly, technology significantly supports the learning process of children and young people in education. Now, interactive learning methods are becoming common with technology. According to the statements made in the 4th International Technology Addiction Congress (2017): Spending more time on technology, disrupting daily work and responsibilities are defined as technology addiction. Failure to recognize this is considered a danger.  In the research conducted by EU, 10 out of 100 young people are prone to internet addiction. In many national and international projects related to technology addiction, different alternatives have been produced to replace the technology. In our project, it is aimed to save our students from technology addiction, as conscious media literate, individuals who think critically, question and are aware of their feelings and values. When they learn to think, their decision-making skills would improve. This way, our students will be able to decide consciously the time they will spend to technology, to learn media literacy. For this purpose, we will conduct our activities with different methods.

 

Partners will contribute to the project;

  • Turkey with P4C (Philosophy for Children),

  • Poland with active learning methods, 

  • Romania with ICT and web 2.0 tools, 

  • Slovakia with gamification and  formative assesments 

  • Latvia with film and cartoon making that can be successfully implemented.

 

 

We aim;

                   

  • To ensure our students' emotional and social development both face to face and on the virtual platform.

  • To raise individuals who have learned the art of reasoning and have 21st century skills.

  • To encourage learning to learn in fun environments.

  • To develop competencies in ICT, cultural, social and linguistic fields.

  • To work partners in cooperation, we will understand the necessity of learning a foreign language and develop in the common language, English.

  • To develop teacher competencies to achieve our goals in the strategic plan.

  • To ensure that the participants are aware of different pedagogical learning methods.

  • To see the good examples of the institutions, which have been observed to have the same strategic targets, and improve the institutional capacity.

  • To ensure that the theme of tolerance and peace is adopted by teachers and students and that they will respect different cultures, 

  • To realize to be an European

  • To ensure that our students can decide for themselves the time they will spend on technology.
