Our school is in EMEK region of Bursa, Osmangazi town. There are approximately 1700 students between the age 10-14 and 110 teachers in our school. The families of our school students have a low income level. They usually make a living with minimum wage. Education levels of families are at secondary school-high school level. There are also many divorced family children in our school.
In our school, a total of 58 classes, 2 preschool classes and 2 Special Education Classes receive education. There are Information Technologies Class, Technology and Design Class, P4C sessions established by Teen Thinkers Workshops, Robotic Coding Workshop and Intelligence Games Club. All units are actively working. Our school aims to improve the level of key competences and skills by increasing mobility opportunities for educational purposes through cooperation between education and the world training in the workplace. Also our school aims to improve placement quality, innovation and internationalization in the educational institutions and training through enhanced transnational cooperation between education and training providers and other stakeholders.
We have an experience about EU projects. We coordinated Comenius Project in between 2012-2014 about Nature Education
There are 30 student clubs in our school. All are actively working and each club is doing community service.
Studies are continuing for EU Erasmus + projects K101 about STEM and K229 about prevent technology addiction via innovative methods such as P4C, drama, street games and etc.
eTwinning projects are ongoing (Teen Thinkers and on the Way to Being a Good Person).
Our students are selling various foods that they prepare to use the income they earn for their friends who need help with the activity organized at school.
Every school year we join TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) 4006 Science Exhibition with projects.
Our school has participated in the league of intelligence games organized by Bursa MEB (National Education Directorate) throughout last year.
Our school is actively working in the sportive area. We have football, running and chess teams and participate in various competitions.
Support and training courses are organized for students with low academic success
Art workshops are organized on weekends by visual art teachers.
